Are you a master's student writing a thesis that critically examines economic growth or explores alternatives? Then we invite you to take part!
Your thesis could focus, for example, on degrowth, ecological economics, well-being instead of prosperity, the fair distribution of resources and time, or economic models that are better aligned with the carrying capacity of people and planet. Research that relates to policy, practice or local initiatives is also welcome, as long as it contributes to a critical and future-oriented economic perspective.

Who can take part? The conditions are:
- The Thesis Prize is aimed at university master's students enrolled at Dutch universities who wrote their thesis in 2025 or 2026.
- The thesis has a clear link with degrowth or ecological economics.
- Research that contributes to future-proof economic thinking.
Applying is easy via the application form on this website. You will be asked to provide basic details and a short summary of your thesis.
